WHY WE EXIST

Hair care shouldn't be a guessing game.

OHN.Me was built by a team of hairdressers and developers who kept seeing the same problem from opposite sides of the industry — clients reacting to ingredients they didn't know were in their colour, and salons unable to clearly communicate what made their products different.

Built from the chair, not the boardroom

Our team has spent years behind the chair, working directly with clients navigating sensitive scalps, allergic reactions, and the everyday damage caused by harsh chemical treatments. We've seen what works, what doesn't, and how much confusion exists around what's actually in the products people trust with their hair.

That experience — combined with a technology team who believed this information deserved to be searchable, not buried in fine print — is what shaped OHN.Me.

Our focus: prevention, not just product

We built OHN.Me around a simple belief: most hair damage and allergic reactions are preventable when people have clear, honest information before they need it — not after a reaction has already happened.

Every product in our shop has been selected with that in mind. We look at formulation choices that matter for sensitive scalps and colour-treated hair — what's left out as much as what's included — so you can make an informed choice for your hair, not just a guess.

Hairdressers and developers, working as one team

We're not a tech company that decided to sell shampoo, and we're not a salon that decided to build an app. OHN.Me exists because both sides of that equation were missing something the other one had. Our hairdressing team brings the real-world understanding of what damages hair and what triggers reactions. Our technology team brings the ability to make that knowledge accessible, searchable, and honest.

What's next for OHN.Me

This shop is the beginning. We're actively building toward a broader platform that helps people find conscious salons, artists and brands near them — not just products to order online. If you're a salon owner or colour artist who shares this approach to hair health, we'd love to hear from you.
